SECCA Launches the 'Floating World'
On April 25, 2015, artist Mary Mattingly partnered with Beta Verde, local students, and community members to create what will become a living biosphere floating on the lake at SECCA in Winston-Salem. Potted plants were attached to a geodesic dome structure, which will float on the SECCA lake for six months.
